FMP Progress (Weeks 11-13)

I decided I needed to work during the two weeks off for Easter in an attempt to get my game closer to a finished state. I continued to work on the blueprints for the deck creation and draw card system at the start of the game as well as how it determines where the card will go visually to be a part of the players hand. I had a lot of struggles with this entire section and spent a large amount of hours troubleshooting, watching tutorials of a few methods I could find but ultimately there wasn’t much in the ways of guidance or tutorials for card games. I was starting to feel burnt out and as if I wouldn't be able to finish my game by the due date.
Week 13 consisted of more troubleshooting of the deck creation and hand draw systems I’d created using tutorials or help I could find online. There wasn’t a lot so instead I tried to focus on getting the cards to be clickable and zoom in when clicked so that the player could read them better and decide if they wanted to use that card. I didn’t have much luck with this either other than having them enabled for click events and play a sound when clicked to show me that the blueprint was working to an extent.
